For 112 years, the NAACP Louisville Branch has advanced civil rights, expanded opportunity, and strengthened Louisville communities.

This year, we gather under the powerful theme:

“WE THE PEOPLE”

The theme reflects the NAACP's enduring mission and history while recognizing the important role WE THE PEOPLE  play in protecting and preserving our democracy.

The Freedom Fund Banquet is the Louisville Branch's signature annual fundraising event. It is an opportunity for community members, businesses, organizations, civic leaders, and supporters to come together to recognize progress, acknowledge the work that remains, and invest in the continued work of the NAACP Louisville Branch.

An Evening of Community, Celebration & Purpose

Guests will enjoy an inspiring evening featuring notable guests, community leaders, engaging entertainment, and performances by the Simmons College Jazz Ensemble and other distinguished artists.

The evening will also recognize the ongoing contributions of individuals and organizations committed to civil rights, social justice, education, civic engagement, and community advancement.

The Freedom Fund provides critical support for the Louisville Branch's ongoing programs and initiatives, including:

• Voter registration and civic engagement

• Youth engagement and leadership development

• Scholarships and educational opportunity

As the nation approaches the 2026 midterm election, voter registration and civic participation remain important components of the NAACP's longstanding civic-engagement work.
