The Louisville Chapter of the National Action Network (NAN) is traveling to the March on Washington on August 28, 2026, and the NAACP Louisville Branch proudly stands in solidarity to restore our voting rights and advance justice for all.

At this meeting, Ted Smith, PhD, Professor of Environmental Medicine at the University of Louisville, will lead the conversation on the Green Heart Project, a clinical trial by the University of Louisville Christina Lee Brown Envirome Institute, to learn how trees can reduce air pollution and lower specific health risks.

Race4Justice is excited to announce the FIFTH annual Race4Justice on June 6th. This event was designed by a women-led student group. Inspired by Breonna Taylor, the movement that followed her tragic loss, and the many other injustices we’ve seen and experienced, this race is about uniting our city to move forward.  Proceeds from the event will be donated to nonprofits doing justice work in the city and world. This year's events are listed below.
